Short Term

We have had our first in a series of cold pushes move through the area this afternoon capping our afternoon highs into the upper 50's rather than the lower 60's like yesterday. Temps tonight will be a bit cooler than this morning with since tonight we will have clear skies (clouds act like a blanket and trap the heat in) and the winds will be light from the north (strong winds "mix" the air up and keep the cold air from settling). So overnight, with that in mind, we will be seeing temps get down into the mid and lower 30's around town, but in the suburbs and the mountains we will see some mid to upper 20's. Tomorrow afternoon will be Sunny and cool with highs in the mid 50's.

This Weekend

Temps take a sharp tumble into the mid 40's for highs Saturday and Sunday as a Canadian cold front moves in. Lows throughout the weekend will be in the mid and upper 20's.
