CANTON, Ga. (WXIA) -- One person was killed at least 6 others hurt, including three kids, in a three-vehicle accident on Marietta Highway at Interstate 575 Thursday afternoon.
Officials said the wreck happened around 3 p.m. Firefighters arrived at the site of the accident to find two cars and a pick-up involved in the wreck.

The driver of one of the cars, a 30-year-old woman driving a red Honda, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.
Officials said five people were injured in a black Chevrolet truck -- a 33-year-old woman who was driving, a 53-year-old female passneger, and three kids in the back, a 12-year-old boy and two girls, ages 7 and 4. The three children were taken by ambulance to Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta. The two people in front had minor injuries.
According to officials, the 68-year-old man driving the third vehicle, a white Buick, had cuts to his head and was transported to Kennestone Hospital in Marietta in stable condition.
