What started as a pleasant walk in her Grant Park neighborhood turned in to a painful experience for Kimberly Krautter. While walking with a friend and her friend's dogs down Berne Street, Krautter fell in to a deep hole in the sidewalk. She says it was filled with leaves and difficult to see. Bruised but not broken, she contacted a pedestrian advocate, her City Council member and 11Alive's Commuter Dude for help.
