Atlanta Rollergirls to take on Madison, WI team on Saturday
ATLANTA -- Looking for a different way to celebrate Mother's Day this weekend --- how about watching some mothers elbow and hip-check each other during the Atlanta Rollergirls' double-header bouts on Saturday.
The Rollergirls will take on teams from Madison, Wisconsin in bouts at 5pm and 7:30pm at the Yaraab Shrine Center at 400 Ponce de Leon Ave.

It's a rare opportunity -- the Atlanta Rollergirls' matchups are usually sold-out days in advance, but they're seeing lower numbers this time around, due to Mother's Day.
According to the organization -- "Atlanta Rollergirls have some of the strongest, fastest, and fiercest female athletes in the south - but a lesser-known fact is that many of them are also mothers."
