COHUTTA, Ga. -- A man accused of gunning down his wife and the wife's grandfather has been arrested.
Adolph Ray "Sonny" Neal was taken into custody Thursday afternoon in Cohutta, Ga., near the Tennessee line, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Someone spotted the 49 year old crossing the street and called 911.
Police say Neal is the prime suspect in the deaths of his wife, 27-year-old Jessica Neal, and Jessica's grandfather, Donald Shedd, last Friday.
Shedd's body was discovered by Jessica's 9-year-old daughter in the Neals' home near Dalton. Jessica's body was recovered from a pool house on Greensprings Road.
