GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- Fifteen people were transported after a three vehicle accident on I-85 near the Steve Reynolds Boulevard overpass.

According to Cpl. Jake Smith, spokesperson for Gwinnett County Police Department, two church buses and a pick-up truck were involved in an accident.

The accident happened as a result of one bus hitting another during traffic.

All of the vehicles involved were traveling from Florida to participate in a conference at the Gwinnett Arena.

The fifteen transported were treated for minor, non-life-threatening injuries.

A chaplain from Hebran Baptist Church transported the remaining 30 people to their lodging accommodations. And members of Hebran Baptist Church have volunteered to shuttle the group until their buses have been repaired.
