Charlottesville, VA (Sports Network) - Mike Scott led a balanced attack with
19 points and five rebounds as the 19th-ranked Virginia Cavaliers dominated
the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, 68-44.
Joe Harris added 11 points for the Cavaliers (19-4, 6-3 ACC), who bounced back
from a 58-55 loss at Florida State on Saturday. Jontel Evans, Malcolm Brogdon
and Akil Mitchell donated 10 points apiece.
Virginia improved to 15-0 when scoring at least 60 points this season.
Travis McKie ended with 16 points and six rebounds for the Demon Deacons
(11-13, 2-8), who had won six in a row against the Cavaliers. C.J. Harris
tallied 10 points.
Wake Forest, which was limited to 34.1 percent shooting, lost its fifth
straight game.
